Description: This 19th century antique vanity or dresser top mirror stand is made of oak and inlaid with marquetry in geometric bands and patterns on both the stand and the tilting frame. The frame is securely attached and tilts easily, rubbing lightly at a bottom corner, as shown in photo. The original, old, silvered glass mirror has antique distressing as shown, and it looks like the mirror could be easily replaced, if desired. The base is lined on its underside with a velvet pad that shows wear, and there are 3 screw-in, brass feet attached. (The one for the front corner is missing, but the mirror stands well on the 3 feet.) The entire piece is in good condition with just some signs of its age and use, as shown.
