Description: American Airlines Flight 1340 crashed short of the runway while on a coupled instrument landing system (ILS) category II approach to runway 14R at Chicago-O'Hare. The approach was normal until the airplane passed through 200 feet above ground level (agl), where the airplane started a pitch oscillation that grew in time. The airplane descended below the ILS glide slope, then climbed above it, and finally descended below it again, impacting the ground 300 feet short of the runway threshold. Upon impact, the airplane slid over the threshold and then off the right side of the runway, where it came to rest. The information below is for all Buy It Now slides. Since a lot of slides that are listed have been in storage for many years, there will be slides that have dust, scratches and marks on them that are not visible on the scan. For US customers, shipping within the United States is provided using USPS First Class Mail for $4.00 with tracking for up to 10 slides. Any order above 10 slides goes into a padded envelope which still includes tracking. For all International customers, shipping is $2.50 per envelope with 8 slides in eachenvelope and a max of 2 envelopes. This does not include tracking. Any order above 16 slides goes into a padded envelope requiring customs and on average shipping is between $17-$20 worldwide. A customs tracking number is included.
