This edition is the American hardback that is wrapped in a dust jacket which is French! Talk about customisation! The book is in ENGLISH text throughout! So it is the French edition but the actual book is the English version. When you take the DJ off, the hardback board cover is printed in English! In sparkly metallic no less. It's a toss up whether the book looks best dressed or undressed! Anyway, lots of unique, customised designs for inspo... Patchwork, beaded, sequins, stripes, we could go on, chains, stars, hearts, threading, all over or statement patches... it's soooo good! Plus the photography is by the great Baron Wolman. Baron was a photographer for music magazines in the USA and created the astoundingly good fashion AND music magazine RAGS. Historically and culturally important - counterculture and feminism mixed with fashion, totally unique. We lent one to the Barbican Museum for their recent 'Vulgar' fashion exhibition, they're equally rare and great! Very Rare!! Both the dustjacket, boards - and all pages are in excellent condition.
