Fully tested on an Olympus BX51 microscope by an Olympus factory trained professional. It is an infinity optics objective and it has RMS threads and a spring loaded safety recessed tip. It is an oil objective that requires the use of immersion oil. No immersion oil is included. It is often used in biological applications. It is NOT for darkfield observation (no iris) and has a n.a. of 1.25. It is similar to the the current Olympus PLCN100XO objective and Zeiss Achroplan 100x objective. For use on Olympus BX43, BX53, BX63, BX51, BX41, BX50, BX40, and similar UIS and UIS2 Olympus models. Also for use on Zeiss infinity RMS thread models. Amscope part number PA100X-INF.
