Description: AMT '61 Chevy Convertible(Kit # K-711) AMT '61 Chevrolet Impala Convertible, original issue 3-in-1 annual. Builtup as a mild custom/drag car, in box. Kit is built stock front grill and rear bumper, but a customized '59-dated front bumper in place of the proper '61 bumper, which is not here, along with totally custom tail light area (the stock openings are not here anymore). It has a silver brush-painted body. The paint is very thick, and it looks like some of the body details (handles, etc.) have been sanded off. Windshield and windshield frame/visors look good. The convertible boot is installed. Engine is a fuel injected small-block Chevy. Interior looks fairly stock. No instructions, decals, or additional parts beyond those shown in the photos (there are two extra wheels so as to be able to choose whichever of the two slightly different moon disc stil fronts the buyer wants; also included are three Chevy hubcaps that I think may be the stock style, or close to it). Box is in decent original condition with only minor shelfwear, one loose corner, and a bit of pencil writing on one end. See my other auctions for more scarce vintage kits.
