Description: Folks who are well familiar with Ferahan Sarouks, know two things for sure. First, Ferahan Sarouks are among the most expensive antique rugs , and they are absolutely lubricous even people had to pay good money back in the days. Secondly, Ferahan rugs usually do not come in pictorial pattern. There are some with tree of life with animal characters but not in human character. The Feraghan that I am offering here indded could be the secone to none. , as you see, it does have a gorgeous tree of life pattern with many animal characters like birds, ducks, dogs, deer and more. but on top of the Cypress tree there is a picture of Boran (Porandokht in Persian) who was the queen of Persian during the Sasanian dynasty froim 630 to 632, she was the daughters of king Khosrow II& Byzantine princess Maria.. This is a true museum quality due to being so unique & rare. It is in awesome condition. It is very hard to put a price on something rare like this but it is time to go to another home, and I am very certain that whoever ends up to own it, will treasure it.
