Description: Beautiful Q'ero Mastana - This Awayu cloth was Hand-woven in the Q'ero Community. This table cloth called Mesa quepe or mastana are used by the Shamans as a tool for a ceremony called despacho, pago a la Pachamama ( pay to the Mother Earth). The mesa quepe is essential because they set all the items on it. This Cloth was woven in one of the Q'ero Nations close to the town of Ocongate - Cusco. This mastana has geometrical designs. The designs are reversible. PACHAMAMA.- Pachamama ( Mother Earth) in Quechua is the central all - surrounding motif of the Andean path. The religion of the Andean communities is very much an earth- centered religion.
