Description: ANNIE, Herald (Advertising Flyer), 1997, Martin Beck Theatre, NYC. The 20th Anniversary musical revival opened NYC on 03/26/97 and ran for 239 performances. The front features artwork; title; and Nell Carter credit. The back contains a production photo featuring Nell Carter, performance schedule and theatre credit. Music by Charles Strouse, lyrics by Martin Charnin and book by Thomas Meehan (based on the comic strip Little Orphan Annie created by Harold Gray). Directed by Martin Charnin and choreographed by Peter Gennaro. This is NOT a reproduction!! Heralds are advertising flyers that are placed at theatres and sometimes included in Playbills and programs. Sizes vary but most of the older ones are 6 x 9 1/2 inches. Brochure style heralds can be one sheet or multi folds and measure about 3 3/4 x 8 1/2 inches. Condition is near excellent with minor wear. International purchases are subject to a $2.00 handling fee. CONDITION: I use a six-step condition scale to describe the overall paper quality: Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor. Good means just that: desireable for a collection with no immediate need to upgrade. Excellent and Mint are usually reserved for publisher and music store remainders. Expect Good-minus and Fair to have considerable wear. All specific condition faults are noted after the general condition. IMAGES: I use a digital camera so the entire piece is visible.
