Description: Rare Vintage Anri Sarah Kay Limited Edition Valentine Series 7" tall and entitled " Giddyup" #1558 of 4000. He has the most amazing detail. He is riding a stick horse or hobby horse in his darling outfit and hat I have 5 of these beautiful Anri carved masterpieces that came from a woman who closed her shop. This one has a price tag of $295! There are 4 others listed. He is stamped with "Design Valentine" logo. The back of the base is incised with the "Sarah Kay" signature. Anri medal disk trademark (used from 1982-1988) is present on bottom of base as a mark of origin and authenticity. Made in Italy. Sarah Kay, the artist, is known all over the world, started work at an advertising agency, and began to draw and design happy children in peaceful environments. She sold her drawings to greeting card publishers and her designs are now translated into wooden figurines by sculptor Ulrich Bernardi.
