It was manufactured by the Finberg Manufacturing Company in the early 1900s in Attleboro, Massachusetts. The business was owned by Joseph Finberg, a Lithuanian immigrant, who arrived in the United States in 1886. Finberg was involved in jewelry making and several other businesses early in his career. In 1905 his business became known as Finberg Manufacturing Company and made mostly gold-filled bracelets, pendants, and brooches. By 1925 the company switched to making vanity cases (compacts) exclusively, which were popular at the time. This bangle bracelet is 1/2-inch wide and has a security chain. The clasp and hinge are in working condition. There are a few scratches on the inside of the bracelet (see photos). There is a small round discoloration on the inside edge of the opening (see photo).
