Description: Antique 14k White Gold Art Deco Diamond Filigree Dome Engagement Promise Ring Click images to enlarge Description Offered today is a charming antique solid 14k white gold Art Deco 1920s diamond solitaire engagement, pre-engagement (or promise) filigree ring with an "illusion-style" domed head which makes the diamond look a little larger than what it really is (see photo on my hand). The type of ring given back in the day when larger diamond rings were not affordable. The ring has a pretty filigree setting, with a hexagonal head. The head has an extra border of white gold around the diamond. The diamond measures about 3 mm and is about .10 ct. PLEASE NOTE there is one small chip to one edge of the diamond visible under a loupe. The mounting is in great condition. The face measures 1/4" north to south. It has been tested with jeweler's acid and is guaranteed to be 14k gold. The ring is a size 6.5 and weighs 2.4 grams. It can be sized by any competent jeweler.
