Description: Antique 17th Century Medieval Hammered Brass Alms Plate from Cheltenham, England 1690s Antique brass alms dish from the 17th century. Very cool piece and has a loop soldered to the back for the piece to be hung. On the back of the piece, there is a label that reads “Brass alms plate - 1690 from Cheltenham, England Ann Hammond Herb Darby”. In good, antique condition. Does have a crack and dent in the edge in a spot that looks previously repaired. Shown in photos. Alm dish measures 16.25” in diameter and 2.25” deep. Weighs 2 lb 7 ounces.
