Description: An historically important old ledger relating to circulation of the now defunct Birmingham daily and weekly post newspapers and covering broadly the 1860s. I believe this book was part of the estate left by John Feeney, one of the original owners of the newspaper. 32x20cm and maybe 100 or so hand written pages. The condition is battered and worn with the cover only just attached as the spine is absent. Some pages are detached and a few have been pasted cover with cuttings relating to a dispute with a rival company. However the content is fascinating and this is the only book of its kind in existence. It is from my personal collection of newspaper ephemera.
