Description: Antique original 1809 map of the State of Vermont by James Whitelaw Esq. Map has very rough edges with brittle edges, and some edges have been torn off and missing. Small rips, tears, and many folds or creases. Matting has some water stains. Map has been stuck with spots of glue or double stick tape to a piece of artique board with a matte affixed to it. Board measures 16" by 24". Map itself measures app. 12" x 20".Map shows the borders of New Hampshire, Canada, New York and Massachusetts. May be a good filler until a better example comes along. A scarce map in any condition. Please look at the pictures for more details as they are also part of the description. The shipping cost is clearly listed.
