Description: Antique early 1800s Ralph Stevenson & Sons 'Palestine' plate. - Handsome dark blue Staffordshire plate from Ralph Stevenson and Sons (1810-1835) of Cobridge, Staffordshire manufactured circa 1820. - Rich deep blue willow transferware pattern with a Chinoiserie pattern featuring a central landscape of temples, mountains, plants and people incongruously called 'Palestine'. - Stamped on back with Ralph Stevenson mark - Elegant piece which would add classic English charm to any room - Plate is over two centuries old, and shows some of this age with some expected surface wear, scratching and crazing to glaze.
