Description: ANTIQUE 1860's 1/9 PLATE AMBROTYPE TINTYPE PHOTO YOUNG GIRL SEATED LEATHER CASE Click images to enlarge Description Offered for Sale is this Antique 1/9th plate Ambrotype / Tintype image of a Young Girl Seated. The image is under glass therefore I'm unsure if it's an Ambrotype or Tintype. The cheeks appear to be hand colored. The Oval Shaped mat would suggest this image was from the 1840's to 1860's. The leather case with Floral design is unfortunately in Poor condition with losses to the exterior. This Early Photo would be a Great Addition to any Antique Photograph Collection. Note: I am not an expert when it comes to photographic images. I have done my best to describe what I see when viewing the image.
