Description: Antique 1880s Ansonia Spelter Metal Figural / Statue Mantle Clock - RUNS Key - Present - Iron Original Movement - This clock originally had an Ansonia (likely open Escapement movement) but when the prior owner found this there was no movement, and he decided to put a nice battery operated movement in it. BUT if you are someone who has a spare Ansonia movement or want to find one that movement can be put right inside this clock to make it fully original. Dial - All Original Operating condition - I have many clocks to test and limited time to do so - Tested - This clock runs great with the battery movement in it and ive has it operating over a month already but as stated above an original movement can be put back inside. Features - VERY clean example - Very heavy at 20 lbs unboxed - 16" X 17" X 8" - High Quality example. Prior owner attached this clock on a slab high quality of marble for eye appeal.
