Description: Beautiful pedestal clear glass cake plate made by Adams & Co. circa 1881. This is the Good Luck pattern, which features wheat, a horseshoe, prayer rug, and mariner's cross - all symbols of good luck. The motive for manufacturing this pattern was certainly bridal crystal. But these days, this antique pattern is appropriate for any "good luck" occasion. Measures 8" in diameter and stands about 6 1/2" tall. If you are a collector of this pattern, you've just found your next hard-to-find piece. Will be packed with care and shipped with GOBS of packing material! I am listing many other items on eBay, including other Depression era and antique glassware and cake plates. So please check my other listings, as I will be happy to combine shipping. I do not accept returns. Please read the description, examine photos, and ask questions if you are unsure. Absolutely no refunds or exchanges.
