Description: Nice antique 1882 volume of Artistic Japan. The book is overall in very good condition with just some minor signs of wear and age. It has been recently rebound, but the front cover retains the original front wrapper illustration of one of the issues. The binding is good and strong. This volume contains issues 30-36 which were bound in without their wrappers. It is profusely illustrated with several wonderful plates including two folding plates which have been reinforced with archival tissue along the fold lines on the backside. A very few pages have a minor marginal chip or tear. Along with that, there may be the very occasional page with a light bit of foxing, grubbiness, or some kind of other very minor imperfection such as a creased page corner, minor marking, etc. The book is a fairly large volume which measures approximately 12 7/8 by 9 3/8 inches.
