Lot includes a wide variety of Greeting Cards including Christmas, Easter, Birthday, Valentines, New Year's, Thanksgiving, Thank you, Greetings, and more. Collection is large with several of the cards having hand-written personal messages on the back with original canceled one cent stamps still attached. Collection was acquired several years ago in a large Estate Sale of a Western WI. home that had been in the family for over 100 years. Most of the cards are still in good condition. Little to no tears, wrinkles, creases, and decolorization. Inspection revealed no known tape or other repairs. See photos for more detail as to overall lot condition and contents. Ephemera greeting card collecting is very popular with scrapbookers and others. Hobby provides a great insight on those days gone by; 1890's - 1920's era.
