Description: For sale is an authentic antique 18th century English Brass Candlestick with classic Octogon Base and a more raised base with rim petal motif. The bulbous stem is particularly smooth And lovely in form. You can find a very similar form in Brass Book on page 191D. The book dates the piece to 1720 English. (I include a picture of the Brass Book for your reference) It is a large specimen, measures 10.5” high and 5” in diameter at the base. It is in solid condition. No damage of any kind that I can find. Small scratches, sign of oxidation, and micro dents are to be expected given its age. Please check the pictures carefully before purchasing. Check out my other antique and collectible listings.
