Description: Antique RELIQUARY with RELICS ST. AMBROSE, ST. BARBARA and A FEW MORE RELICS LOOSE INSIDE THE RELIQUARYAntique, 18th Century (1700's), Reliquary with metal frame with glass on both sides inside a second golden wood frame (I believe this wood frame was placed at a later stage and dated from the 19th century). Inside a wax plaque with, on one side, very nice metallic thread decoration, Relic of St. Ambrose with inscription "S. Ambrosio" and other unidentified Relics, some loose inside. On the other side, embebed on the wax, as Relics sometimes were, Relic os St. Barbara with inscription "Reliquia S. Barbae V. & M." (Relic of St. Barbara Virgin and Martyr).These Relics are a piece of hair of the Saint and/or a piece of cloth worn by the Saint, which are allowed by eBay policy.
