Description: Our exquisite 1913 Brascolite hanging light fixture, is a rare find in the world of antique lighting. This vintage chandelier embodies the elegance of the Art Deco era, featuring a stunning pendant design that exudes timeless beauty. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, this historic ceiling fixture adds a touch of vintage charm to any space. These large lights were most often used in public spaces. This particular light came from the old train depot in Joplin, Mo. Brascolites were made to take very high wattage bulbs for large spaces. This light has been rewired and we added a reducer to the large socket hole, so it will take standard light bulbs. Incandescent or LED will work just fine. This light measures 35 3/4" Long, it can be shortened up to 15 1/2" prior to shipping if needed. The top larger shade is 17" diameter. The Lower shade is 12" diameter. The light has a 5" ceiling mount. As shown we left the age and lightly chipping paint on the holder, chain and ceiling mount for character. We would be more than happy to repaint in new black paint if you desire. This is a very high quality and unusual fixture, it is in great condition for it's age. Light wear is to be expected at this age, no damage. It is missing one set screw for the shade, but has been hanging in our warehouse for years, as is. If you would like to see more photos of this stunning, Art Deco ceiling light fixture, please contact me, I will be more than happy to send them to you.
