Description: Antique 1915 HALLOWEEN Bobbing For Apples TUCK No. 190 Postcard SF PAN PACIFIC Click images to enlarge Description ANTIQUE HALLOWEEN POSTCARD Adorable antique color lithograph Halloween embossed postcard measuring 5-1/2" long by 3-1/2" deep. Featuring a group of little boys dressed in period clothing, they participate in a holiday game of bobbing for apples - note the grinning carved Jack O'Lantern pumpkins and black cats to the side. Printed pre-WWI Germany and published by Raphael Tuck & Sons, it is numbered 190 - note the cancellation stamped date of 1914, and the WORLD'S PANAMA PAC EXPOSITION IN SAN FRANCISCO 1915 stamp next to the one cent postage stamp. Condition is very nice with minor soiling/scuffing from being postally used and a tiny bit of paper chipping on the bottom right corner - none of this detracts. Think this card is just charming - what you would expect from Tuck! Fun addition to any Halloween collection or display! If questions, please contact me - thanks! Images sell!
