Description: Antique 1922 L.V. Aronson elephant bookends, bronze elephants summiting a rock hill with their trunks up. Please zoom in for details, photos are part of description. These elephant bookends are from the Art Deco era and a very rare find, let alone finding a pair of them. They are very heavy. In excellent condition, especially for their age! One bookend does have a separation on the base (again, see pictures) and is missing its underside, which does not affect the piece of course. These measure 5.75" long, 5.25" tall, and 3.25" wide. They are marked L.V.A. 1922. for Louis V. Aronson.
