Description: Up for sale: Antique 1929 Hemingway Farewell To Arms Scribner's 1st Edition 6th Printing HC NO Dust Jacket Rare, first edition volume of "A Farewell to Arms" by Ernest Hemingway in acceptable reading condition. True first edition and what looks to be the 6th printing, published by Charles Scribner's Sons in New York, 1929. Hardcover black cloth with the Scribner's seal present on the copyright page, the spine shows some cocking and the binding shows overall looseness and heavy fraying at the top edge. The top edge shows some heavy toning and a medium size water stain. The pages are unmarked with the exception of the previous owner's information written in pen on the front free endpaper. The hardboards show heavy bumping and some chipping to the corners as well as heavy all around scuffing, there is a substantial crease on the front cover across the title. The pages show some overall age related fading and discoloration.Please do review all the detail images as we have made an effort to show all the imperfections, the photos tell an accurate story of condition.
