Description: Antique 19th C. Edwards marked milk jug pitcher. Greek pottery decal. 1861. It is 7.75"H. Excellent condition with no chips cracks or crazing in the glaze. The only Mark I could find is an impressed mark on the bottom which is a little difficult to see but it says "Edwards" and it is handwritten with the year "1861". There are also appears to be two or three letters impressed under the name Edwards but I can't make those letters out at all. It is all decal ware. Nothing hand painted except for the blue which was a hand-painted accent color over the decal. There is an almost pearl like Sheen to the glaze and the brown has a peach luster.
