Description: For sale, a beautiful antique Rare to find Americana Folk Art hand made, very large wooden treenware dry goods, sugar bowl - container with a lid, it also has a hand crafted piece of thin copper trim that is around the whole body of the wooden sugar container. The copper piece trim is inlaid also. This is really a unique treenware piece. The size, the copper, having it's original lid. It is 11 1/2" in diameter, stands a little over 9" tall to the top of the knob. The wood is almost 3/4" thick. It is almost oval shaped from over the years, like most treenware, dough bowls etc... Their is a stress crack, please see photos, this is normal with all treenware items, just shows their age. I have used a lot of photos, any questions, please let me know. It is in great untouched condition, just displayed for so many years, I purchased this over 30 years ago in Maryland at a estate sale here on the eastern shore area. I love one of a kind items, that are Americana Folk Art hand made. No two are alike! It is a antique, so no antique is perfect! Selling as is. If know antiques or vintage nothing is perfect. I list all that I can see. This is just one of the many 40 years of collecting, plus vintage unqiue items, ironstone items, sports items, tole items, hooked rugs, treenware, folk art pieces, that I have collected over the years, I will be selling more ebay this year. I am down sizing and have so many wonderful items to list. Can not keep them all! Only shipping to the lower 48 states. No International shipping. I will also insure this item. Please bid with confidence, I have over 3000 plus 100 percent positive feedback. Any questions, please let me know. Thank you.
