Description: This listing is for an original 5x7" glass plate negative. This negative is part of a small collection of c. 1910's glass negatives from the Ohio area. Subject: Rail yard / depot with a surplus of building supplies. One of the train cars appears to be a N.Y.C. car but hard to make out. Notes: ---- This listing is for the physical glass negative. I photographed each negative plate, and then inverted the image in Photoshop so you can see what the positive image looks like. If you need clarification on what an original glass negative is, please don't hesitate to ask. If the corners appear slightly off-center it's just due to the angle at which I took the photograph from my camera; each negative is nicely rectangular. "Watermarks" are a digital creation and not on the physical item. Any questions just ask. Will ship with extra care. Please note: A necessary amount of postage is in effect to safely ship this fragile, historical glass item; I'm more than happy to combine shipping on multiple purchases to help reduce the shipping cost for you. Located outside the U.S. and interested in this item? Let me know if ebays auto-generated shipping quote is too high and I'll try to find you a better quote. This is a wonderful, tangible link to a time long ago - and it's ready to be digitized and preserved! ----
