Williams W 88 Truck, made in the 1920s, is a classic cast iron toy that showcases early 20th-century American craftsmanship. This solid cast iron model features a boxy cab, rounded fenders, and durable iron wheels. Hand-painted in red, the paint has aged to a charming patina, enhancing its antique appeal. In addition, the Cartage Co. trailer also features patinated blue paint, though much of this has been lost to time. As both a nostalgic representation of early motor vehicles and a key piece in the history of toy manufacturing, the W 88 is highly prized by collectors for its blend of durability and craftsmanship.
