Description: Antique Alfred Lanternier Limoges Depose 9" Pink Floral Scalloped Plate. The delicate pink flowers on this plate may be Lily of the Valley or Bleeding Hearts. Could not identify pattern. It is a beautiful piece despite the wear on the gold border. Stamped and impressed on the back are the Limoges A L and anchor. Underneath the anchor is a smudged word that we believe is Depose which dates the dish to circa 1891. There is also a gold L A in script in the center of the underneath of the dish. This is just a beautiful dish that would grace any table. The diameter is 9" x 1 1/4" tall. Good condition, no chips, cracks or crazing. No utensil marks. Gold border has wear (see photos).
