Description: Very pretty Apollo antique footed box. Unsure whether it is completely brass, or partially copper, due to green tarnishing. Sits on four small feet. Decorative flower tabs on all four top corners. Sides are engraved inside and out. Has an old candlestick-style handle, as well as a thumb tab to be used for opening the box. Engravings on both side of the thumb tab. The top would hold a photo. Approximately 4 3/4 x 6“. Would need to be a bit bigger to fit under the sides. Inside of box can be seen in the pictures. Bottom reads Apollo, 94/X 14, CS. Box itself measures approximately 6 1/2 x 5 1/4 x 2 inches. Handles add approx 2 more inches in width and 3/4” in height. Weighs 1 pound, 4.4 ounces.
