Description: Antique aqua color glass fruit jar or canning jar is a half gallon size jar. It has a zinc lid that is marked BALL on top. The jar is 9 3/8 inches tall to the top of the lid. One side is embossed THE MARION JAR, MASON'S PATENT NOV 30TH, 1858. The bottom of the jar is embossed 25. The jar has some light and general wear. It has some waviness in the glass. Above the first 8 in 1858 there is a bubble there with a heavier scratch on it-- the scratch is on the inside of the jar. There is roughness around the mouth of the jar. The lid has light wear.
