The Unger Brothers were a renowned jewelry company based in Newark, New Jersey, best known for their exquisite sterling silver Art Nouveau designs. Their Art Nouveau pieces are highly sought after. Their pieces often featured intricate designs such as ocean waves, seashells, flowers, and ethereal female figures. The company ceased production of sterling silver items in 1914. This buckle is marked with the Unger Brothers mark and Sterling Silver. 2 ounces in weight being almost 3 1/2 inches by 2 3/4 inches.
