Description: For your consideration is this antique Automatic Electric Company Model C3Candlestick Telephone. It is a black candlestick with a nickel plated fingerwheel and faceplate. The faceplate reads at the top: Automatic Electric Co. Chicago USAAt the bottom of the faceplate it says: C3The rotary dial says: Automatic Electric Co. The base of the candlestick has the Step Base which dates to around 1914 or possibly earlier. Please refer to the photos for the condition. The cords should be replaced.The mouthpiece has some wear along the edges. The rotary dial spins and returns slowly. The earpiece fits tight in its holder. Instructions for dialing are so noted on the number card. This truly is a wonderful piece!
