Description: This is an antique Ball Eclipse wide mouth glass quart canning jar with a glass lid and a metal bail closure. Sometimes these jars are referred to as fruit jars although they were used to can a variety of foods. This ball canning jar measures 7.25 inches tall by 3.50 inches wide. Pretty good condition with a rusty bail and this jar has been lightly cleaned but there is still a slight touch of rust like patina on the glass where the wire bail contacts with the jar on the sides and on the top.
