Description: This antique walking stick or swagger is made of a single piece of genuine bamboo with a bamboo-shoot or root knob top which has lightly oxidized to a rich, dark patina. Handcrafted. Circa early 1900's with an unknown origin, but possibly Japan. Height: 37 1/2" Knob top measures: 3 3/4" long x 2" Wide / Across The shaft is in great condition with no cracks or other issues. The top bulb part on the one side is a bit fragile and has an area where a bit of the top layer of varnish has peeled (Please see photo).
