Description: Exquisite antique glass beaded purse romantic courting scene. The woman in brown gown is seated on a bench with troubadour playing a mandolin. The colors are dark and moody, looks like nighttime, and their pink beaded faces and hands stand out.Bag has a lovely solid brass filigree frame with acorn finial pinch clasp and original brass chain handle.Inside lined in a silk print fabric, I think may have been relined but not recently, perhaps when bag was 20-30 years old in the 1930s. Frame is 7" wide and from top of frame to bottom purse is 9-1/2" high. No fringe at the bottom.Purse is late Victorian or early 20th century era. All very good antique condition.
