Description: Look at that Blue🩵 This is a somewhat rare antique lamp made by Boston and Sandwich Company who were in business from 1826-1888. They were one of the originators of pressed glass. This lamp was originally a whale oil lamp that someone converted to an electric lamp with a cord 🐳 The base/lower is a beautiful white, hollow piece of milk glass. Things to note: -No chips or cracks. -The cord sits higher up by the socket as there is no hole in the milk glass. - There is a little sediment in the bottom of the blue sandwich glass sphere. -The socket has a slight wobble that I secured on the stem with a piece of clear rubber cord. Whoever converted this did not add a washer for a secure tight fit. *This does not include the lamp shade, however if you want the Black Vintage Silk Shade I will Include for $20 - DM me first before purchasing so I can adjust the price and shipping for a larger box🖤. 20.5 inches tall to finial top 5 inches wide Weight: 3lbs *I will purchase additional insurance to ship this item.
