Description: Antique Book-The Country School In New England, Clifton Johnson 1st edition 1893. Filled with lots of wonderful copies of photos of children in the 1800s, at school and play, including 11 that are full page. Privately owned (never a library book), with almost all clean pages (a fingerprint here and there is all) and no tears. Paper is thick and high quality. No marks at all, even at end papers. Binding is sewn in and loose from the spine itself throughout the first half of the book and also the last couple of pages, although pages are still all held together securely, with exception of most of the full page copies of photos, which are laid in and all in very good condition. One of the full page photos has edge creasing from use but that page is clean with no tears as well.Cover has only minor soiling and corner wear, and inlaid photo of a little boy has some fading but is still nice. Very nice, quality book!
