Description: This antique brass student lamp features a milk glass shade and has been electrified , making it a unique addition to any room. The lamp stands at approx. 20 1/8" tall without the clear globe , but about 24 1/4" with globe, and has a width of 13 1/2" and the base measures approx. 6 1/4" across. There are some type of weights in the inside of the barrel , ornate top screws off . I think this is where the kerosene originally was kept. I am assuming it would be some type of counter weight not sure. The primary materials of the lamp are heavy brass with a milk glass globe, (we do not know if this was an original globe or not. We are not considering our price based on including white globe. We can ship without but if we ship with lamp afraid globe may not make it unbroken. Up to the buyer. The lamp is corded electric and has a switch control style, see pictures. This original piece is perfect for collectors and enthusiasts alike, and its Victorian design adds a touch of elegance to any space.
