Description: Here is a very nice, Butchart-Nicolls (BTN) of Carnoustie/NY bamboo/hickory shaft mallet head putter. This club has a dot pattern face, the markings are a little faint, but visible. Its condition is good, and it shows very little ware and marks. The club was lightly cleaned, and the head was carefully hand-polished to remove the oxidation and years of neglect. The club is approximately 35 inches long to the bottom of the hosel. The shaft appears to be the original bamboo/hickory shaft, and the grip appears to be the original, see photos. The head is tight to the hosel with no movement when twisted, I have putted with it and it feel very sound, good weight for a blade. This would make a great player or very nice addition to anyone’s putter collection.
