Description: Antique C. 1930s (Painted) Brass 5 Arm Hanging Pan Light With Ornate Details For your consideration is a beautiful 1930s Hanging Brass Light Fixture. Everything but the chain is brass. Unfortunately, it has been painted an off-white, but the paint is flaking, exposing the brass underneath. Fortunately, a vinegar bath will remove the paint fairly easily. There are many ways to remove paint. The five arms all have brass sockets with bakelite paddle switches to turn off and on if you wanted to. Each arm has a matching cover. All you need for these are the decorative bulbs. The fixture covers are removable should you want to use a globe to cover the bulbs instead. This fixture will need updated wiring in order to comply with today's safety standards. This light, measuring from the top finial to bottom finial, stands 13" tall x 18" across from arm to arm. The chain that is on it measures just under 3' and can be lengthened or shortened depending on your ceiling height.
