Description: Presented is a lovely sterling silver bowl with a clear glass liner, made for Cartier. This piece dates to around the 1930s. The bowl is made in a simple, elegant Art Deco style, very clean lined and appealing. The bowl has two handles and a removable glass liner. The interior of the bowl is spotlessly clean, while the exterior is polished to a bright mirror finish. This piece is stamped with a maker's mark on the underside of one handle which we unfortunately do not recognize, and with the Cartier stamp, sterling, and the number 402 on the underside of the opposite handle. This piece is in excellent condition. The glass liner has no chips, no cracks, no breaks, and no repairs. The silver has no splits, no breaks, no dents, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs. The bowl measures about 11 1/4 inches from handle to handle and stands about 2 1/8 inches tall. The total weight for the piece, including the glass liner, is 925 grams. The weight of just the silver bowl without the liner is 541 grams or 19.1 regular ounces. -jm Powered by SixBit's eCommerce Solution
