Description: Antique Carl Kauba Austrian Bronze Bust Man w/ Hat Sculpture on Marble Signed Carl Kauba (Austrian/American, 1865-1922) bronze bust on marble base. Bust appears to be a Spanish or Mexican gentleman, with a wide brimmed hat that has a ribbon hanging from the back, upturned collar, and mutton chop side burns. Signed on back: C Kauba Geschutzt 4523. Sculpture measures approximately 5.25" tall including the marble, it is in good antique condition with some signs of age, use, and wear; no felt base and the mounting screw extends slightly past the marble so the sculpture doesn't sit flat when standing, small chip in marble at edge of base, please see photographs for condition details.
