This Talhakimt pendant is made from Brazilian carnelian agate which was cut and carved in Idar-Oberstein, Germany and was traded into Africa. This amulet bead type is prized and used by the Tuareg people of the Sahara Desert mostly from the Mali and Niger areas. This specimen measures 3 inches long by 1.50 inches wide. This pendant is in great condition with slight dings. Perfect for jewelry making or adding to your African trade bead collection.
