Description: Very nice antique smelting pot & smelting ladel. Fresh out of a hudson valley NY estate..great for smelting lead for sinkers or bullets. Solid cast irom pieces very heavy. Useable bowl is about 5 inches. Handle is a cut piece of copper nice touch. Set need a good cleaning but should clean up super nice Smelting pot is base marked L 0305 A Ladel appears to be unmarked but is 17 1/2 inches long & has an old rope cord handle Great piece of blacksmithing / lead history! Still 100% functional or collectible! Most seem to sell the ladel and pot seperate you get them one bundle! Thanks for looking
