Description: Very old German medal - very hard to make out one side. Legend is hardly legible though I am pretty sure it is written in German. The back side has the clear immaculate heart of Mary - with the garland of roses across it as well as the sword piercing it. The front side is more obscure - there are angels on each side... looks like God the Father on the top... Someone (perhaps Mary) offering someone else (perhaps Jesus) up to the Father. Measures approx 5/8" x 3/4". Unknown metal. 19th century. Very worn and eroded design. Barely legible text. Gallery pictures have been lightened so you can see the design better.
