Description: This antique set of seven Coalport, England saucers featuring a green leaf and vine design with butterflies was produced for Hardy & Hayes, Pittsburgh, Pa. between 1891 - 1911. Since the city's name excludes the "h" , the hallmark verifies the timing. Hardy & Hayes was a fine jewelry and home goods store in the city from the late 1800's to the mid 1900's. Each saucer measures 6 3/4" in diameter, features the summer green leaf and vine pattern with "floating " butterflies, and has a matching green color border. The back of each plate "reads" ENGLAND COALPORT The Hardy & Hayes Company Pittsburg along with a 6480 stamp and a 14H14 imprint. No chips or cracks. There are minor utensil marks. The "glaze or gloss" finish appears faded ( possibly missing ) on most pieces which effects the green color more so on some pieces. Please review photos. Overall, a delightful antique treasure for Collector's of Coalport and/ or those who appreciate the past Fine Quality Retail Merchandising in American History. Buy Now: $ 77.00
