Description: Gorgeous book collected works of Guy De Maupassant. The giant international series printed by Walter j. Black in the United States of America. Circa 1930. Look at the gorgeous cover of this book. I love the gold paint and the ornate details. The red on the cover is just electrifying. So cool. It's really in great shape given the cover a little bit of scuffing on the gold. If you look at the side where it says the collected works of you can notice the ornate details and you can make out the giant international series. What I do notice is that typical of these books. The corners and the edges have started to fade away a little bit. As you can see from the pictures. The pages looking from the sides are yellowed and have a little dirt on them. A few of the corners have been turned in. But this is very atypical. As you open the book, you see a yellowing cover. It's slightly detached from the book. The cover is slightly detached. Turn the Page to the cover page and you can see again where the pages are kind of separating because of the binding. But this whole book is intact and is readable and collectible. No pages falling out. Let me know if you have any questions thank you
